I am having so much fun with Twitter lately. It is majorly addictive. Today I found out I can follow Bethenny Frankel and PointClickHome - yippee! Yesterday I received my Elle Decor in the mail (it's a REALLY good one, definitely worth picking up if you don't already subscribe). As I read through it, I thought, "Ali Wentworth is EVERYWHERE!" In Living Color reruns, Oprah, Starz, and now writing about her own pad in Elle D. In this increasing synergy of the interwebs, the latest PointClickHome tweet sent me straight to the online version of Ali and Georgie's D.C. pad:

It's a little heavy on design trends for me (I spy Moroccan poofs, coral, lots of sea fans, and zebra throw rugs), but it has a luxurious yet comfortable feel to it as well. I was really anxious to see the kids' rooms, but they didn't show them. I think they did a great job of styling their shelves, I love the round dining table, and the bannister is to die for. The color behind the shelves in the top photo is a great example of how to make your shelves stand out. It's a lovely shade of blue/green. As for the pink and purple, it used to be my favorite color combination to put with my unicorn collection in 1981, but I think it works here.
all photos by Simon Upton for Elle Decor via PointClickHome. Wowzah, Simon Upton's website is HOT! I'll have to share some of those shots with you soon. They are sublime!
