W: A Fashion DON'T from Demi
O.K. I love Balmain. I love W. I love Demi Moore and think she always looks amazing. I get that editorial looks can be and almost always should be provocative, but really, I don't even want to say what the, I don't know, fringe, reminds me of. I cringe at the thought of how Michael Kors would describe this. I realize editorial looks are often all form and no function, but trying to come up with an event for which this outfit would be appropriate is hilarious. O.K. I'll try one - you want to go to the Gladiator premiere pool party and you didn't have time to get a wax? You wanted an excuse to accessorize with a mace? What's sad is that the top half could be pretty cool, if it actually had a bottom (or covered a gal's bottom):

is it just me, or do the two "Os" in her name, plus that hanging bit, TOTALLY look like a weird bird wearing huge glasses? LIke, a geeky crow or something???
The top isn't bad. She looks teensy and hot. But the bottom is just RANDOM. Also not into how the model/runway version spotlights those jutting hip bones!!
It totally does. The two Os also look like balls!
Some blog I was reading commented the way they photoshopped her hip - like it's impossible for it to be narrower than her thigh. It does look weird. Why mess with Demi's perfect bod in photoshop?

My copy just arrived in the mail today. Seeing as how W's ad revenue is down about 50% or something, it was probably really stupid to renew my subscription. I get so many magazines and used to get so many that folded that I am now getting random shit I don't want like Bon Appetite instead of Domino. Like I know how to cook or something, or I need to be tempted by the gorgeous chocolate cake on the cover. It's really annoying!
Totally impractical, but i kinda love it.
